Vivian Eunice Ellison

Vivian Eunice Ellison, 86, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.
Born March 17, 1927 in Winchester, Ontario, Canada, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Annie Hayes Hamilton and the widow of Joseph Paul Ellison
She was a graduate of Nyack College, NY and three years of Nursing at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, NY. Eunice was a registered nurse and also a missionary for the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Elaine Ruth Skene of Lake Tapps, Washington; two sons, David W. Ellison of Vestal, NY and Robert P. Ellison of Monrovia, CA; one sister, Doris Leeson of Ottawa, Canada; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Hamilton; one sister, Genevieve Nash and one daughter, Linda B. Ellison.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Henry Chapel of Chapel Pointe at Carlisle, 770 South Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Walter L. Frankenberry officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at Chapel Pointe.
