Victoria Shughart

Victoria Renee Shughart, 71, of Carlisle, passed away December 18, 2025.

Born January 13, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Sarah Elizabeth (Foltz) Mitchell. She attended Big Spring High School and was employed at Lobar Inc. as an administrative professional.

Surviving Victoria is her husband: Charles E. Shughart; children; Michael E. Shughart, Daniel L. Shughart (Allison Reisch) and Andrew G. Shughart (Cheri); grandchildren; Joshua D. Shughart, Michaela E. Shughart, Destiny M. Ascone, Nathan Jackson, Chloe R. Shuey, Bobby E. Shuey, Olivia R. Shughart, Hayley Clepper and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is additionally survived by her siblings, Anita K. Gutshall and Davy L. Mitchell. In addition to her parents, Victoria is preceded in death by her brother, Charles W. Mitchell II.

She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and The Meeting House – Carlisle Church. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her family, birdwatching, tending to her flower beds, photography, traveling with her friends and family, going to the beach and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Throughout her life she loved attending Bible study, teaching Bible studies and being a warrior for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 11am at The Meeting House- Carlisle Campus, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015. There will be a viewing from 10am until the time of the service at the church. Interment will immediately follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA 17013.
