Verle V. Slaybaugh

Verle V. Slaybaugh, 71, of Carlisle, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the Diakon Senior Living Center – Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle.

Born in Carlisle, PA on November 1, 1951, Verle was a son of the late Donald E. and Faye L. Slaybaugh.

Verle had formerly worked as a machine operator at Ahlstrom Filtration, LLC in Mt. Holly Springs.

He held many titles in his life, but his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending quality time with his adult children, Rebecca and Tyler. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Verle is survived by his former wife: Brenda S. Speck, of Carlisle; two children: Rebecca M. Lee, of Boiling Springs and Tyler J. Slaybaugh, of Carlisle; and granddaughter: Adalynn R. Lee, of Boiling Springs.

Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
