Theos E. "Ted" Verow

Theos E. "Ted" Verow, a man of God, entered suddenly, into eternal rest with his Savior, March 25, 2026 as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born in Carlisle, May 15, 1951 to the late Theos Elexander Verow and Ruth Evelyn Carver.

Ted’s soul mate and the love of his life for 54 years, Jan M. Verow, will be lost without him.

Ted leaves behind his beloved children, sons Jared T. Verow and Benjamin D. Verow, daughter in law Nikki C. Verow and his cherished grandchildren, Lennon, Harrison, Matthew and fiancé Virginia, Grace and fiancé Chase, Elliott and fiancé Selena along with her children Arrow, Clementine, Gunner, Houston and Georgia.

Ted is survived by his siblings, Beverly Rife, Cheryl Key and husband Allen, Clark Dunkle and wife Theresa, in-laws David Bowermaster and wife Nancy, Ronald Bowermaster and wife Anita, Donna Morrow and husband Brian, Sonja Chestnut and husband Gary and Jayne Jones and husband David who held a special place in his heart.

He will be missed by an army of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His pastor and best friend, Richard Warner and church family mourn his absence.

Ted’s genuine faith and love of Christ, touched the lives of many who worked for him at Kwik Way, Foxes Pizza, Papa John’s and his “retirement” jobs at Pizza Hut and Capital Couriers.

A memorial service for Ted will be held Friday, April 3 at New Hope Church, 1250 Waggoners Gap Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013. Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM. Service to begin at 11:00 AM.
