Stewart Heishman

Stewart A. Heishman, 95, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on July 24th, 2025.

Born on February 15th. 1930, in Carlisle, PA, Stewart is the son of the late Minnie and Robert Heishman.

Stewart is survived by his wife of 72 years, Jean (Deitch) Heishman. He is also survived by his daughter in law, Shonna Heishman, his 3 grandchildren, Sarah Eleftheratos (FL), Hannah Heishman (PA), Ben Heishman (NJ) and his 6 great grandchildren.

Stewart is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jeffrey Heishman, and his 5 siblings.

Stewart served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953. He was a member of the Army Reserved until 1959. He was also a member of the Newville Assembly of God. Stewart worked almost his entire career at Carlisle Tire and Rubber, before he ultimately retired in 1990.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Newville Assembly of God, 403 Oak Flat Road, Newville, PA 17241. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
