Steven Robert Overmyer

Steven “Shorty” Overmyer, 72, of Dillsburg, passed comfortably among loved ones on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Born in Highland Park, MI to Vernon and Virginia Overmyer on October 30, 1951, Steve was a software engineer who spent most of his career on Ascension Island developing software for the Global Positioning Systems.

As a master of the English language and with a unique outlook on life, Steve often entertained those around him with his humor as he shared stories of his life experiences with those he encountered.

Steve was preceded in death by his incredible wife of forty-three years, Nancy Jo, who he spent most of his adult life with in the beautiful mountains of Divide, CO.

He leaves behind to carry on his memory, his daughters, Terrie Bruscino (Tom) of PA and Katie Riley (Ian) of WA; six grandchildren, Sage (Haley), Dominic, Anthony, Mari, Sean, and Cavan; one great-grandchild, Oaklyn; and many friends and loved ones.
