Stephanie R. Roadcap of Boiling Springs, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring daughter and good friend to many.
Stephanie was born August 31st, 1974, in Montrose, PA to Walter (Rick) G. Reighard, III and Carolyn L. Reighard of Boiling Springs. She met the love of her life, Danny E. Roadcap (Boiling Springs) when they were both just 15 and they married on June 10, 1995.
Stephanie was a 1992 graduate of Big Spring High School, 1995 graduate of Shippensburg University and retired from South Middleton School District in 2022 after 24 years of dedicated service. Along with being a devoted wife to Danny, Stephanie was an avid reader and lover of all dogs, especially her sweet Brandi who rarely left her side. Stephanie’s greatest joy came from their daughter Alyssa, whom she loved tremendously. She was so incredibly proud of her, most especially for the caring and loving person she has become and got to see her graduate from Shippensburg University and get accepted into pharmaceutical school.
In addition to her parents and husband, Stephanie is survived by her daughter Alyssa L. Roadcap (Boiling Springs), her brother Darren Reighard (Tekoa) of Indiana, and her in-laws with whom she loved to share vacations, holidays and trips, Dolly A. Ludwig, Larry E. Roadcap Jr (Deb), Kathy R. Benton (Jeff), and Tracy L. Gates (Charles) all of Carlisle, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of Stephanie’s life on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, at Carlisle Evangelical Free Church (CEFC), 290 Petersburg Road, Carlisle. The family will receive visitors at 3:00pm with the service beginning at 3:45pm. There will also be time to visit with the family during the repast being held after the service at the same church. All are welcome to attend and to share tears, laughs and maybe a story.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to be made in Stephanie’s honor to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (https://www.mda.org/ways-to-give), the Humane Society (https://humanesocietyhbg.org), or a charity of your choice. Stephanie also would have wanted you to give those you love a few extra hugs as soon as you physically can.
