Shirley Louise Snyder

Shirley Louise Snyder, of Carlisle, passed away at home on February 2, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born on June 10, 1937, to the late Kenneth and Goldie (Shearer) Horn.

Shirley was known for her love of cleanliness, and she proudly worked as a housekeeper for many years. She enjoyed watching Nascar racing and football games.

She is survived by her siblings, Mildred "Mitzie" Heckert, Arlene "Helen" McAlister, and Dennis Horn and his wife Louise. Shirley also leaves behind nieces: Jeanette Cassel, Sherry Miller, Lorraine Weary, and Sharon Spencer.

A viewing in honor of Shirley will be held at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory located at 2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013 on Monday, February 9, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private at Youngs Church Cemetery in Shermans Dale.
