Shirley L. Snyder

Shirley L. Snyder, 88, of Carlisle, passed away February 2, 2026, at her home.

Born June 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Goldie (Shearer) Horn. 

She is survived by her siblings, Mildred "Mitzie" Heckert, Arlene "Helen" McAlister and Dennis Horn (Louise); nieces and nephews, Jeanette Cassel, Sherry Miller, David Heckert, Lorraine Weary and Sharon Spencer.  

Shirley loved to clean- she was even employed as a housekeeper in several locations throughout her lifetime. She also enjoyed watching Nascar races and footballs games.

The family will receive friends for a viewing at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013 on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 1pm. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Youngs Church Cemetery in Shermans Dale.
