Sandra L. Goss

Sandra Goss, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle at the age of 84. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Randall and Ruth (Jacobs) Blackburn. She was the loving wife of the late Donald L. Goss.

Sandra worked as a clerk for Cumberland County Courts for many years. After relocating to Florida in the early 1990s, she worked at Disney World in Orlando, mainly in the Tower of Terror thrill ride. While living in the Orlando area, she also worked as a cashier for Publix Grocery Stores until moving back to Pennsylvania in the late 1990s.

Friends and family often enjoyed Sandra’s wonderful sense of humor, and her family and grandchildren often knew how much she enjoyed spending time with them.

Surviving are three sons, Jeffrey Goss of Mechanicsburg (wife Tina); Donald Goss of Mechanicsburg (wife Beth); and Joseph Leskovics, of Carlisle. A sister, Toni Graves of Hummelstown, and Steven Blackburn (wife Olga) of Nebraska also survive her, along with grandchildren Brittnay, Michael and Brianna. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers George and Kenneth Blackburn.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle.
