Sally A. Nicholson, 93, of Carlisle, died Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Church of God Home.

Born in New Bloomfield, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Gladys (Sweger) Foose and wife of the late Carl Nicholson, who passed away in 1995.

Sally enjoyed cross-stitch and crocheting and was an excellent cook. She also loved going to the beach, especially Bethany Beach in Delaware. Her greatest love was spending time with family and going to the sporting events of her great grandchildren.

She was also an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Carlisle.

Sally is survived by her daughter: Sue Lippert, of Carlisle; her grandchildren: Josh Lippert, his wife, Hillary, of Etters, Jesse Lippert, his wife, Dawn, of Carlisle, Jill Stenberg, her husband, Ryan, of Mechanicsburg as well as her great grandchildren: Aidan, Aaron, Lennox and Leo.

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Dorothy Miller and Arlene Paxton and her son-in-law: Victor Lippert.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside service 2:00 pm Friday, October 18, 2024 at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle.
