Rusty Lee Miller

Rusty Lee Miller, 70, of Carlisle, passed away at home on August 23rd, 2025.

Rusty was born on August 10th, 1955, to the late Donald Lee Miller and Sylvia Mildred Miller (O'Hara).

Rusty is survived by his sister, Linda Hill (Harvey), his sister, Marlene Seaman (David), his brother, Jeffrey Miller (Laurie), his 13 nieces and nephews, and his many great nieces and nephews. He was also survived by his beloved cat, Gracie.

Rusty is preceded in death by his parents.

Rusty enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and go kart racing. He raced Winged Sportsman at Silver Spring Speedway as #37 for 7 years. He was a member of the Corvette Club, as well as a member of Young's Methodist Church, being baptized on August 30th, 2015. Rusty graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in the class of 1973. In his time at Cumberland Valley, he was on the wrestling team. He then went on to earn an associate's degree in automotive technology from Williamsport Area Community College. He was also on the football team while in college. Rusty worked at Forklifts Inc, Abbottstown Repair Shop, and Glen Eagle Power. He also owned his own business called K&M Auto Sales.

Rusty was known for his kind nature and his willingness to try anything at least once. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is now pain free and flying high with our Lord.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The service will be at 11:00 a.m., at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. An interment service for the immediate family will be held immediately following the viewing at the cemetery.

Burial will be at the Bible Brethren Church Cemetery, 7600 Wertzville Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.
