Robert L. Vogelsong

Robert Leroy Vogelsong, 83, of Shermans Dale, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Premier at Perry Village.

Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late John and Mildred McClintock and the husband of the late Nina Vogelsong, who passed away in July 2025.

Robert grew up in Mechanicsburg and worked there his entire life, retiring from Wilcox Forging Co. after 35 years.

Survivors include his sons: Patrick and Jeremy Vogelsong; his granddaughter: Ashley Vogelsong; his step-children: Theresa Heinbaugh, Vanessa Ellerman, Kenneth Ellerman, Earl Ellerman; his seven step-grandchildren as well as his ten step-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother: John McClintock, Jr. and his sister: Sandy Westower.

Relatives and friends are invited to share thoughts and stories of Robert from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Youngs Church, 101 Youngs Church Road, Shermans Dale, PA. Interment will be held in Youngs Cemetery following the service.
