Robert Harman Bowersox

Robert Harman Bowersox, 88, of Carlisle, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born April 24, 1924 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Daniel W. and Gertrude Harman Bowersox and the widower of Betty Brenneman Bowersox.
He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1943. He retired from the US Naval Depot, Mechanicsburg. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Carlisle. He was a member of both the Cumberland Star Lodge #197 and the Harrisburg Consistory for fifty years. Also, he was a member of the American Legion Post 101, Carlisle, NARFE and AARP. He was a US Army veteran.
Surviving are a sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, with Rev. Charles A. Brophy officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle.
