Richard Foreman

Richard Lee Foreman, 87 of Carlisle, died July 20, 2011 at his home.

Born September 23, 1923 in Carlisle, the son of the late George and Ester Black Foreman.

Richard retired from the former Reeves-Hoffman crystal plant after over 40 years of service as a Maintenance Supervisor. Dick was a US Navy Veteran serving in WWII.

Dick was an avid golfer all his life, loved spending time at the beach looking out over the ocean and spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren

Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Darlene Foreman, two sons, Richard A. Foreman and David Foreman and his wife Dianne, all of Carlisle, a sister, Judy Foreman, Pine Grove, three step-sons David Kutz and wife Susan, Toby Kutz, and Mike Goshorn and wife Cindy, a step-daughter Nena Lander, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Carlisle is handling the arrangements.
