Richard Anderson Jr.

Richard E. Anderson Jr., 66, of Carlisle, passed away October 26, 2025, peacefully at his home.

Born December 28, 1958, at Seidle Memorial Hospital in Mechanicsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Richard E. Anderson Sr., and Marian Hughes Anderson. Surviving Richard are his daughters; Tori L. Nguyen, Stevie Kay Weymouth (Samuel); Stepson; Eric Heishman (Megan); sisters; Shirley Crane (John) and Lois Beigh (Dan) grandchildren; Anika Nguyen, Tai Nguyen, Zoe O’Donnell, Charlotte Roldan, Jaime Roldan, Henry Weymouth, Kaylee Heishman, Ava Heishman, Sophia Heishman and Vera Heishman and his cat, Benji. His wife, Deborah A. Anderson (Grimes) preceded him in death.

Richard graduated from Vo-Tech with an emphasis in Culinary Arts. He was employed as a chef at several companies in his career including Canteen vending, the Harrisburg Country Club, and the Carlisle Country Club. He was a local sprint car racing enthusiast, spending all his spare time selling novelties at Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedways. He was also a member of the York County Racing Club.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
