Reginald Atkinson

Reginald Atkinson, 79, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late George and Kathryne (Stemler) Atkinson and the husband of Sally (Boyer) Atkinson.

Reginald worked 18 years as a dock worker for Carolina Freight. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and did painting for Bob Ross.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Ryan (Robin) Atkinson, of Schwenksville, Brian (Donna) Atkinson, of Virginia, Steven (Shannon) Atkinson, of Virginia, Nicholas (Shannon) Shane, of Illinois; his grandchildren: Nichole (David), Megan (Tom), Brianna (Angel), Julia, Logan and MacKenzie; his great grandchildren: Bentley and Emerson as well as his brothers: George and Keith and his sister Kathy.

Reginald was preceded in death by his siblings: Charles, Sandra, Gary and Norwood.

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
