Randolph Lee Ramsey

Randolph Lee Ramsey, 81, of Carlisle, passed away at home on May 3rd, 2026.

Born in Carlisle, PA, on July 28, 1944, Randolph is the son of the late William Ramsey and Ruth Ramsey (Mullen).

Randolph is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Kathryn Ramsey (Longenecker).

Randolph is also survived by his daughter, Dawn M. Sheaffer (Robert), son, Kevin W. Ramsey (Wendy), son, Thad M. Ramsey, daughter, Sandie Ramsey Kincaid (Stephan), and grandson, Dylan Sheaffer.

Randolph is preceded in death by his mother and father, stepfather, Arthur Mullen, uncle, James Goodyear, and aunt Elizabeth Mederac.

Randolph loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the races at Williams Grove Speedway, tractor pulls at Shippensburg Fairground, and watching western movies. He was a Transmission Technician at Lupfer’s Transmission for 25 years.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, May 8th, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013.
