Phyllis W. McCoy, 97, of Gardners, passed away May 30, 2026, at Green Ridge Village, Newville.

Born September 20, 1928, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Shirley (Neidigh) Worley.

She was a 1946 graduate of Carlisle High School and was employed as a seamstress for many years and also by Nell’s Shurfine Markets as a deli clerk. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Surviving Phyllis is her daughter, Patricia (McCoy) Sangialosi of Gardners; grandchildren, Lisa Peterson (Paul) of Florida and Jaime Reisinger (Todd) of Enola; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Brody, Kayden; one sister, Betty Long of Carlisle and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her son, Allen Ray McCoy; six brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA, 17013, with pastor Kevin Dunlap officiating. There will be a visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow to Westminster Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
