Pearl "Annie" Ditmer

Pearl “Annie” Ditmer, 82, of Carlisle, passed away December 20, 2025, at her home.

Born May 23, 1943, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary A. (Miller) Neidigh and Kenneth & Helen Kutz. Pearl was employed for Masland & Lear for over 34 years before retiring. She was previously employed at Clarmont nursing home, formally known as "the county home" and Karns grocery store.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery E. Ditmer (Steven) of Carlisle, sister, Dot Marpoe and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Russell, whom she shared 34 years of marriage with, siblings; Charles Neidigh, Lester Neidigh, Samuel Neidigh, Gordon Neidigh, Mildred Neidigh, Cora Bonawitz, Edna Rife and Irene Frye and several foster siblings.

Throughout her lifetime she enjoyed cooking and watching game shows. She was a member of the Carlisle First Church of the Brethren where she served in the ladies’ ministry.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11am at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013. There will be a viewing from 10am until the start of the service at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
