Paul L. Myers Sr.

Paul L. Myers Sr., 90, of Carlisle, passed away September 27, 2026, at Green Ridge Village.

Born April 19,1936, he was the son of the late Charles and Edna (Killinger) Myers. He was employed as a laborer for the PR Hoffman Crystal Plant for many years before retiring.

Paul was an avid hunter throughout his life, a passion he proudly shared with his son and grandson. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Turnpike Ramblers Motorcycle Club. A lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1299, he participated in the bowling league and celebrated several championship victories alongside his teammates.

In his younger years, Paul loved drag racing, classic cars, and attending car shows. He had an incredible knowledge of automobiles and could identify nearly any car he saw, eagerly sharing its history and details with those around him. He was also a devoted NASCAR fan and enjoyed attending races with his daughter, Bonnie, while cheering on his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon.

Anyone who knew Paul knew how much he loved talking about hunting, cars, and, most importantly, his family. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and stories will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Paul is survived by his children, Paul L. Myers Jr. and significant other, Cindy Minnick; and Tonya Armolt, and significant other, Jeremy Armolt, grandchildren; Shawn Myers, Katelyn Wilson, Quinten Armolt, Darbie Nunez and Elizabeth Showaker; great-grandchildren; Charlotte, Fletcher, Lakelyn, Addilyn, Owen, Hallee, Macie, Kenna, Holden, and Ellis, siblings; Robert Myers, Lester Myers, Janet Lesher, Lois Mellot, and Charles Myers Jr. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Bitner, siblings; Cloyd Myers, Catherine Piper, Joyce Weller, Richard Myers, Mary Ball, Mildred Calaman, Roy Myers and Eldon Myers.

A visitation for Paul will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 11-12:30pm at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013. Inurnment will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
