Patricia A. Irvin

Patricia A. Irvin, 82, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline (Scott) Potts.

Patricia worked in New Mexico as a caregiver of Infants/Parents Teaching with teens at Aztec Alternative High School for two years then as a Counselor at San Juan County alternative youth program, working with troubled youth. After that, she worked at a family Crisis center in Farmington as a counselor. After moving to Pennsylvania, she worked at a family crisis center in treatment assessment then as a Medical Social Worker for Guardian Angel to help assess needs.

Surviving family includes her children: John E. Irvin, of Carlisle, Robert P. Irvin, of Carlisle, Pamela J. Williams, of Lemoyne; her five grandchildren: Brandy, Melissa, Steven, Jessica and Sarah; her brothers: Larry Fisher, of Mechanicsburg and Samuel Potts (Nancy) of Colorado as well as many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her cherished grandparents: Charles and Ruth Scott who raised her; her deeply loved partner Gene Morrison and her beloved boxers Sampson and Savannah.

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
