Patricia Ann Fasold

Patricia Ann Fasold, 95, of Carlisle, passed away on October 29, 2026.

Patricia was born on January 23, 1931, in Bloomsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Cornelius St. Clair and Helen (Roberts) Longenberger. She graduated from Danville High School with the class of 1949 and began her career as a nurse's aide at Danville State Hospital, where she worked until her retirement.

Pat was feisty and full of spirit, and she always had a way of making us smile or shake our heads with the things she would say. She loved a good game, whether it was a lively hand of cards with her card club in Sunbury or a board game around the table with family. Her favorite music was the timeless standards of Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Rosemary Clooney, and Nat King Cole, and those songs were often playing wherever she was. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with others at the Sunbury Senior Center, where she also volunteered. Above all, Patricia treasured her family, and nothing made her happier than being surrounded by the people she loved.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Pamela K. Fasold-Kline, Jody A. Shivell and her husband, Stan, and Carol L. Schatte; her son, Daniel L. Fasold and his wife, Mindi; her 12 grandchildren; and her 10 great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Paula K. Rishell; her son, Thomas E. Adams; her sons-in-law, George Rishell, Mark Schatte, and Delmar Kline; and her brother, Richard Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Burial will be private and at the discretion of the family.
