Nancy Swartz

Nancy L. Swartz, 89, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Helen (Deitch) Swartz.

Nancy loved to travel, especially to Australia, Europe and to National Parks.

She worked for the former Sprint Corporation, retiring after 48 years and was involved in the Business Women of Carlisle and the Pioneer Club.

Nancy was an avid golfer in her senior years and was very active at First Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was involved with flower distribution, Teddy Bear deliveries and children’s programs, was a greeter, worked in the kitchen and participated in Stephen Ministry.

Nancy is survived by her siblings: Edwin Swartz (June), of Oregon, Shirley Hare, of South Carolina, Donna Coulet Dugard, of Delaware as well as her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
