Minnie K. Knouse

Minnie K. Knouse, 103, of Carlisle, passed away January 23, 2026, at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home.

Born January 20, 1923 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late William Z. and Alvah (Nickel) Keller. She was the wife of Warren Knouse Sr., whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Warren Knouse Jr. (Patricia), Nancy Stape, William Knouse (Faye), Susan Shenberger (Gerald) and Julie Thompson; sister, Emma McBride and brother, Earl Keller; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Hilda Arnold, H. Paul Keller, Dorcas Keller and Lillian Hocker.

Minnie was a graduate of Carlisle High School, class of 1940. She was employed as a secretary at Masland Corporation before retiring. She was a longtime member of Wellspring Westeyan Church of Carlisle.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, camping, going to church and spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Wellspring Wesleyan Church, 430 B St. Carlisle, PA 17013 at 11am. There will be a visitation from 10am until the time of the service. A private family interment will take place at Westminster Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Wellspring Wesleyan Church or to the Benevolence Fund at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home.
