Melvin Sauter, 89 of Carlisle passed away on Sunday June 8, 2025, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center.
He was born on April 11, 1936, in Storm Lake, Iowa to Arthur Melvin Sauter and Golda Blanche Schemel.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Lesher, his two sons: Kenneth Sauter Sr. and Charles Sauter; his daughter Kim Graves, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Melvin was a devoted husband, and a loving father and grandfather who will be sadly missed but always remembered. We know that we can’t have you here with us anymore, but we’re happy knowing that you left us to be with the love of your life of 68 years.
No services will take place as Melvin requested, but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
