Mary J Weimer

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary J. “Jackie” Weimer, who peacefully left us on May 3, 2025, at the age of 76. She was the daughter of the late David H. and Regina M. (Galbraith) Shenk. 

Jackie was steadfast in her dedication as a wife, mother, “Nanny”, and friend. She was extraordinary in her generosity and the caring spirit she brought to others. 

As a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jackie taught Sunday School for 21 years. She was also a paraprofessional in the Carlisle Area School District for many years. She enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Jackie leaves behind a husband, son & daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren, not to mention a lifetime of cherished memories.

The family and close loved ones will have an informal gathering by her graveside at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 210 Brick Church Road Newville, PA 17241, to celebrate her life on May 17, 2025, at 11AM.
