Mary Ann "Sis" Kirkpatrick

Mary Ann “Sis” Kirkpatrick age 86 of Carlisle passed away on February 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.  

She was born in Carlisle, PA the daughter of the late William and the late Irene (Baker) Darr.

Mary loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets, tending to her flowers and loved animals. 

Mary is survived by her husband of 68 years (celebrated on February 18, 2024) Glenn R. Kirkpatrick and their children: Stanley Kirkpatrick and companion Sylvia Ruoss, and daughter Monica Hoover, four grandchildren: Keith Kirkpatrick, Marsha Noble, David Kirkpatrick, and Amanda Aigeldinger, great grandchildren: Madison, Ella, Keith Jr., MacKenzie and Declan, brothers: Carl, David and Stephen Darr and sisters: Jean King and Betty Crain.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers.  

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday February 27, 2024, at Hoffman Funeral Home 2020 W Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.  Chaplain Todd Carver will be officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Restland Cemetery.
