In Loving Memory of Mary Stringfellow

With deep sorrow and steadfast hope in the promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and faithful servant of God, Mary Stringfellow.

A woman of unwavering faith, Mary dedicated her life to knowing, loving, and serving the Lord. Her devotion to the Catholic faith was not merely something she professed—it was the foundation upon which she built her life and the gift she generously shared with others. Through her example, countless lives were touched and drawn closer to God.

Mary's Mom was her best friend. Her Mom and her did everything together and valued each other's opinions. Mary's parents set the foundation for her faith by their loving example.

One of her greatest passions was supporting the formation of future priests through her commitment to spiritually adopting and praying faithfully for seminarians. She understood the importance of prayer and offered it tirelessly, trusting that God would use her sacrifices for the good of His Church. Her legacy will continue through the many seminarians, priests, and faithful whose lives were strengthened by her prayers.

Mary also devoted herself to creating and distributing booklets that beautifully explained and celebrated the Catholic faith. Through these works, she shared the truth, beauty, and hope of the Gospel with countless readers. Her writings continue to inspire and educate, ensuring that her witness to Christ will endure for generations to come.

Mary loved St Patrick's Church. She had many friends there. She was a member of the Cemetery Board, the Ecumenical Council, and the Society of Saint Rita. Mary was one of the original Saint Vincent de Paul Society Board Members. Starting and managing the Militia of The Immaculata Village at St. Patrick's was one of Mary’s favorite accomplishments.

Though her family grieves her absence, they rejoice in the faith she lived so fully and the example she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her Dad, Raymond Stringfellow, her nephew, Chris Peterson, her brother-in-law, Colonel John Keith and her brother-in-law, Raymond Peterson. She is survived by her loving mother, Dorothy Stringfellow; her sisters, Dotty Keith and Marty Peterson; and her many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, all of whom were blessed by her love, wisdom, prayers, and steadfast faith. She considered her nieces and nephews her own children.

Those who knew Mary will remember her kind heart, her devotion to prayer, her love for the Church, and her unwavering trust in God's providence. Her life was a testament to the power of faith lived authentically and shared generously with others.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
