Mary F Lenton

Mary F. Lenton, age 84, passed away on September 14th, 2025, at Forest Park Nursing Home. 

Mary was born on October 4th, 1940, in Carlisle, to the late Joseph and Alice Foster.

Mary worked for the Army War College and Dickinson Law School.

Mary and her husband, Michael, were married on August 8th, 2008; a hard anniversary to forget.

Mary loved life and had a great passion for wildlife. She was devastated when she lost her two westies, Mandy and Mandy Tu, who passed away in June of 2025.

Birds and all animals, great and small, were so important to Mary. She had a passion for moose, and she took several trips to northern New England i hopes of seeing one, with no luck. Big, ugly, and ill tempered, did not matter- she loved them.

Thanks to Forest Park Nursing Home for their great care and thanks to Amedisys Hospice for so much love and comfort.
