Mary Claire Leithead died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Cumberland Crossings, where she had been living since March 2011. She was 93 years old. Born Jan. 20, 1918, in Philadelphia, she was the oldest child of the late Edward C. and Veronica Bergin Leithead.
