Mark A. Stum

Mark A. Stum, 65, of Newburg, died Friday, May 22, 2026, ay Wellspan York Hospital.

Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Keeseman) Stum and the husband of 18 years to Bettie (Swartz) Stum.

Mark worked for over 30 years at Giant Distribution.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, working in his garden and being with his dog.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Kara, Sonia Jumper (her boyfriend, Cory Gundermann), Jimmie Fulton; his five grandchildren: Haylie, Preston, Leah, Ava, Freya as well as his brother: Dave (Kim) Stum and his sister: Sue (Gary) Noble.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2026, at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle. Interment will follow the service in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
