Margaret Truxal

Margaret Rose Truxal, 77, of Carlisle, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025.

Margaret was born in Pittsburgh on July 9th, 1948, to the late John and Imelda (Pelletier) Newkam.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bruce Truxal, her daughter, Katrina Truxal, her son, Jonathan Truxal (Rachel), her grandchildren, Linneah Baughman, Amber Baughman, Jarret McClurg, Dakota Stambaugh, Cierra Stehr, and Jade Truxal, her great grandchildren, Kylee Beam, Calvin Beam, Dean Baughman, Khaleesi Funston, Aries Blizzard, Gracelynn Welsh, Ryker Welsh, and Lilianna Stehr, her sisters, Imelda Stevison and Janet Carlson, and her nieces and nephews.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her daughter, Kristina Stambaugh.

Margaret lived the majority of her life in Carlisle. She graduated from Carlisle High School in the class of 1966. 

Margaret's hobbies included crafting, making jewelry and wreathed, gardening, shopping, walking laps at the YMCA pool, and baking. She loved flowers and her dogs. She also hosted the annual Christmas buffet where her family would get together to spend time with one another. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
