Loretta M. Fisher

Loretta Mae Fisher, age 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 29, 2026, in her home of Newville, Pennsylvania. She was born in Carlisle on September 8, 1963. Loretta grew up attending Salem Stone UCC, where her lifelong foundation of faith was built, and she proudly served her church community as its office secretary for 27 years.

A dedicated professional, Loretta worked as a certified bank teller for 11 years with Farmers Trust and F&M Trust for 13 years. She deeply enjoyed the company of her coworkers and always went the extra mile to ensure her customers were well cared for. She loved sharing fond stories about her meaningful days at the bank.

Above all, Loretta devoted her life to her family and friends, finding her greatest fulfillment in the times they spent together. Her kind spirit, steady devotion, and unconditional love left a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Loretta is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Seth Fisher; her beloved children, Elizabeth, Aaron, and stepdaughter Mandy; her grandchildren, Kaaliyah and Kayden; and her great-grandson, Jordan. She is also survived by her brother, Lloyd Jones and his wife Barbara; sister, Kathleen Jones; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and an extended circle of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Jones and Ruth (Shughart) Jones.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hospice of Central PA for the compassionate care and support they provided to Loretta; their kindness was deeply appreciated.

A funeral service to honor her life and faith will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with the service beginning at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow immediately at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. Following the burial service, family and friends are invited to gather for a reception to share memories and comfort one another at Salem Stone UCC, 514 Stone Church Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013.
