Linda D. Moyer, 75, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at Green Ridge Village in Newville.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Long) Moyer of Boiling Springs.
Linda grew up in Boiling Springs and graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 1968. Linda’s first job was working at her family’s store, Moyer’s Cut Rate, located on the square of Boiling Springs. Linda earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a major in the Social Sciences from The Pennsylvania State University. After college, Linda worked at Woolco and Hills Department stores and then embarked on a decades-long career as a Store Manager for Fashion Bug, traveling and helping to open stores at numerous locations. During her employment at Fashion Bug, Linda received regional and district awards for sales and store performance.
She loved to play cards and bingo, read, and tend to her flowers and plants. Linda loved visits from family, especially her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and is fondly known as Aunt Nini.
Survivors include her siblings: Robert Moyer (Cynthia), of State College, Barbara Kulik (John), of Boiling Springs, Diane Pikaard (Craig), of Indiana; her nieces and nephews: Rachel Rhine, Cristie Leonard, Matthew Pikaard (Emily), Allison Borstad (Arik) and Christopher Moyer; her grandnieces and grandnephews: Elizabeth Leonard, Alexis Rhine, Alexander Rhine Kulikauskas, Cecilia Pikaard, Genevieve Pikaard, Lydia Pikaard, Sage Borstad and Leo Borstad as well as her good friends: Tom Stoey and Rick Brown.
