Linda J. Hockenberry

Linda J. Hockenberry, 73, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Armina (Holtry) Hershey and the wife of 37 years to Norman Hockenberry.

Linda was an active member of Letort United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by brothers: William Hershey, Sr., Gerald Hershey, Ed Hershey, Tom Hershey and her sisters: Geraldine Shipp and Peggy Clouser.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 7 PM Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where a viewing will be held from 6 to 7 PM. Reverend Debbie Westbrook will be officiating. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to Letort United Methodist Church, 1198 Claremont Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.
