Leona Y. Haffly

Leona Y. Haffly, age 71 of Carlisle, passed away April 17, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle, Carlisle. Born January 16, 1949 in Carlisle, daughter of the late Leona Yan.
Leona was a secretary for the Department of Public Welfare for over 30 years. She was a member of the Salvation Army, loved to travel, especially to the ocean, loved making ceramics, loved angel figurines, dogs and tigers. Leona was a kind hearted person and would do anything for others.
Leona is survived by her husband, Frank C. Haffly; brother-in-law, Carl Monroe Haffly and sisters-in-law, Georgianna Rupp and Tina Cook.
At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
