Lee Talbot

Lee Talbot, 71, of Carlisle, went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2026, at the Mercy House of Chambersburg.

Lee was born to Ret. Lt. Col. Ernest “Lucky” & Catherine Talbot on September 18, 1954 in Pittston, PA. He was the son of a career military officer who was exposed to numerous nations at an early age and continued his interests in their history and cultures as he was an avid reader on these subjects.

In his youth Lee was an extraordinary gymnast and had such a love of the outdoors that rafting down the rapids on the Potamic River was natural to him. He had a passion for hiking, and his gardening skills could make any patio a piece of paradise. Although discussions with Lee would always turn into educational lessons, these are the moments that he has left for his family and friends to always cherish.

He leaves behind his loving mother, sister Jan, brother Guy, nephews Matthew, Michael, and Eric.

Condolences for Lee in the form of support to your local Hospice House would be most gracious.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
