Larry E. Redding, 75, of Arendtsville PA, passed away peacefully at his home on August 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 2, 1950, in Gettysburg, PA, Larry was the cherished son of Edgar and Betty Redding.

Larry spent over four decades dedicatedly working as a laborer, ultimately retiring from Knouse Foods. His strong work ethic and commitment to his job were admired by all who knew him.

He had a deep passion for the Baltimore Orioles, never missing a chance to cheer on his favorite team. Larry was also a devoted fan of Elvis Presley, often filling his home with the iconic sounds of the King of Rock 'n' Roll. Bingo nights were a favorite pastime, where Larry enjoyed not just the game, but the memories that came with it.

Larry's family was the center of his world. He is survived by his children, Nicole Lener and her boyfriend, Brandon Zirk, and Troy Redding with his wife, Carly. Larry's legacy lives on in his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

He is also survived by his siblings: Brothers Joel (Belinda) Redding, Terry (Rachel) Redding, Robbie (Sue) Redding, and his sister, Rita (Bob) Yeingst. Larry was predeceased by his twin brother Gary Redding and his brother James Redding, whom he deeply missed.

Larry shared a special bond with his loyal dog, Max, who was never far from his side. His love for his family, friends, and dear Max was evident in the warmth and generosity he extended to all.
