Kenneth L. Eckenrode, Jr.

Kenneth L. Eckenrode, Jr., 60, of Camp Hill, died Friday March 15, 2024 at Carolyn’s House in Harrisburg.

Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Kenneth Eckenrode, Sr. (step-son of Clark Neal) and Barbara (Brownawell) Neal and husband of Kelly Oyer.

Ken enjoyed dirt racing and watching the Buffalo Bills. He was a huge Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt fan.

He was a loving and hard-working man. What brought him the most joy was spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply. He was an amazing father, grandfather, uncle and brother and was always there when they needed him. Ken always put his family first and his problems last.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children: Nicole Jones, Jessica Powers, Jennifer Eckenrode, Kala Conrad, Kenneth, III, Keith Stone, Clarissa Oyer; several grandchildren as well as his siblings: Timothy Eckenrode, Clark Neal, Tammy Failor (David Smyth), Danny Eckenrode and Dwayne Eckenrode.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 11:00 am Monday, March 25, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 9:30 am prior to the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

THE FAMILY REQUESTS NO FLOWERS but asks that contributions be sent to the funeral home to help alleviate the cost of the funeral.
