Kendall S. Lehman

Kendall S. Lehman, 67, of Carlisle, passed away October 5th, 2023, in Carlisle.

He was born June 30, 1956, in Carlisle. Kendall was a son of the late Kenneth B. Lehman and son of Ellen (Hurley) Lehman. Kendall worked in a variety of occupations. He ran his own landscaping business, worked with troubled youth at Tressler Wilderness Center, and finished his working years at Fine Line Auto Body and then worked part time driving for Relax and Ride, Carlisle.

He was the Scoutmaster for Newville Boy Scout Troop 174 for 20 years. He was a Past Master of Big Spring Lodge #361 F.&A.M, Zembo Shrine & Police Unit in Harrisburg, and the Big Spring Fish & Game in Newville.

Kendall greatly enjoyed working with the Scouts including hiking, backpacking, and camping. He also enjoyed skiing with his sons, attending dirt track races with the VaPaR Group and gardening at his home.

He is survived by his son Scott K. Lehman (Amanda) of Carlisle, Stepson Eric Willhide of Camp Hill, one grandchild, Samantha (Matt) DelBorrello of Allentown, three siblings, Kendra (Tom) Shaffer, Brent (Bev) Lehman and Kent (Bobbi) Lehman all from Newville and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind Scott and Eric’s Mother and lifetime friend Linda Crampton of McConnellsburg.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion Theresa Jones.

A visitation will be held at the Big Spring Masonic Lodge from 2-4PM on Sunday October 15th with a Masonic Memorial service immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Spring Lodge #361, 131 Centerville Rd., Newville, PA 17241.
