Katherine “Katie” Evans Sliger age 53, passed away on March 10, 2025, at her home with her faithful companion Moose her German Shephard by her side.
Born on Wednesday January 5, 1972, in Carlisle, PA., to James P. and the late Daune H.(McKenrick) Evans.
She worked in food service at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle.
Katie is survived by her daughter: Kara E. Fitting (partner Richard Pease) of Michigan, grandson: Eon Pease, granddaughter: Iris Pease, father: James P. Evans, sister: Kelly (husband Patrick) Klacik, and nephews: Benjamin and Zachary Caldwell.
She was preceded in death by her mother and husband John Fitting.
The family is planning a private graveside service at Mount Holly Springs Cemetery.
