June A. Seidl, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great friend to many,
died at age 103 at Green Ridge Village in Newville on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. June was the wife of Charles H. Seidl. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on June 30, 1922, to George and Emily Nelsen.
Surviving are one daughter, Dana C. Seidl of Carlisle (wife of Gloria Boyer); two grandchildren, Daniel Thomas Seidl of Albuquerque, NM (husband of Kayla Ward); Emily J. Seidl of Cinnaminson, NJ (wife of Matthew Tomlinson); and Amelia June Tomlinson, a great-granddaughter born in December 2025.
June was predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Seidl, a daughter, Christine Taigel (wife of Karl Taigel) of Hancock’s Bridge, NJ, and three brothers, Warren, Marshall, and Wayne Nelsen.
June was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who served during World War II. She was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church in Kane, PA. She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Burial will take place on June 11, 2026, in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. There will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held later at Green Ridge Village.
