Judith A. Good

Judith “Judy” Ann Good (Cohick), 86, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully at home Saturday August 31.

Judy was the daughter of the late Evelyn Cohick (Arbegast) & the late Christian Luther Cohick.

 Born October 22, 1937, Judy was a graduate of Carlisle High School (1955), Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing (1959) & Shippensburg University (1968). Judy’s early career in nursing included stints as a scrub nurse as well as serving as a school nurse. After nursing, Judy would serve as a caseworker supervisor for the Cumberland County Office of Aging until she retired in 1996.

 Judy enjoyed the beach and floating in her pool. She was an avid grower of houseplants and enjoyed board games. 

 In addition to both parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert “Odie” Good.

 She is survived by her three children, Robert T. Good of Laurel Highlands, PA, Alecia Good-Boresow (husband, Larry), Christopher Good (Cheryl Ford) of Carlisle, brother, Thomas Cohick (wife, Melanie) of Boiling Springs, PA, 5 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. 

 A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday September, 20, 2024 at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville followed by a ceremonial scattering of ashes.
