John D. Goodhart

John D. Goodhart, age 61, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was born March 28, 1955 in Carlisle to the late John L. and Mildred R. Sheriff Goodhart.
John is survived by his brother, Robert L. (and wife Joann) Goodhart of Carlisle; several close nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles.
John formerly worked at Carlisle Tire & Wheel and also Carlisle Syntec. He was a former member of the Carlisle Eagles, Aerie #1299 and the Minnequa Social Club of Shippensburg. John was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed watching WWE and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Burial will be at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
