JoAnn Wolf

JoAnn Wolf, 78, of Mechanicsburg, died Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at her residence.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Florence Hoffman (Leiby) and the wife of George B. Wolf, Jr.

JoAnn worked a few different jobs but spent most of her working life raising her family.

She was an active member of Letort United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Amy Jo Shearer as well as a granddaughter, great-grandson, great-granddaughter and one brother, Donald Leiby (Wanda.) 

She was preceded in death by her brother: C. Robert Leiby and her sister: Connie Leiby Pretz.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
