Jack Bricker

Jack Allen Bricker, 84, of Carlisle, passed away on November 5, 2025, at his home.

Born June 13, 1941, in Shippensburg, he was the son of the late Harry Allen and Blanche (Warren) Bricker. Jack was notably employed by the Department of Corrections. He began his career in July of 1971 and was then promoted to Sergeant in August of 1984; he honorably served that role until his retirement in September of 2003. He was a member of the Great Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving Jack is his wife, Deborah “Deby” Bricker, whom he shared over 53 years of marriage with. He is additionally survived by his son, Scott A. Bricker, of Bainbridge PA; daughters, Robin K. Gilmartin of Marietta, PA and Kiristi L.Bricker of Chicago, IL, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, a grandson, Joseph J. Gilmartin IV preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held at the Great Hope Baptist Church, 110 Fern Ave, Carlisle, PA 17013, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 12pm. Family will receive friends from 11am until the time of the service.
