Ida K. Brymesser

Ida K. Brymesser, 91 of Mt. Holly Springs, died Saturday January 5, 2013 in the Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
Born April 26, 1921 in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Harry S. and Effie Mae Clepper Weaver and the widow of the former Cumberland County District Magistrate, Chester H. Brymesser.
Mrs. Brymesser was employed by the former Carlisle Garment Company and Early’s Furniture. She volunteered her time at local election polling places and as a Gray Lady. Ida received an award for 50 years of voting. She was a life long member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Caldwell, Chambersburg and her husband Steven and Linda Myers and her husband Leverne, Newark, DE, a sister, Arlene Worley, Carlisle, five grandchildren, Bradley Shoemaker and his wife Gina, Hollidaysburg, Melissa Luther and her husband Mark, Chambersburg, Kristy Humelsine and her husband Dustin, Chambersburg, Jennifer Arellano and her husband Ed, Asheville, NC and Jeffrey Myers and his wife, Shelley, Huntersville, NC. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy, Leverne, Paul and Guy Weaver, seven sisters, Miriam Johnson, Mildred Myers, Romaine Lear, Myrtle Vaughn, Helen Kurtz, and Gladys Piper.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, with the Rev. Carolyn DeStephano officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. There will be a viewing from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday and from 10:00 am Thursday until the time of the services in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ida to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walnut and 2nd Strs., Boiling Springs, PA 17007.
