Harry M. Trauger, Jr.

Harry M. Trauger, Jr., 84, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center. Born November 29, 1939 in Philadelphia, Harry was the son of the late Harry M. Trauger, Sr. and Margaret Wert Trauger. Harry was formerly married to Connie L. (Stover) Trauger, who preceded him in death November 10, 2022.

Surviving are three sons, Scott (Joy-Lynn), of Millheim, Robb (Roxanne), of Aldan and Todd, of Millheim; two siblings, Barbara Maslow, of Wisconsin, Howard Trauger, of Philadelphia and his half siblings from his father’s second marriage. His sons blessed him with six grandchildren, Jennifer Feeser (Brian), Jaime Marchese, Zachary Trauger, Troy Trauger, Mya Trauger and Jackson Trauger, as well as two great grandchildren, Mitchell and Makenzie Feeser. In addition to his wife and parents, Harry was preceded in death by a great grandson, Ryan Marchese.

Harry worked tirelessly for 60 years in the elevator industry, inspecting and solving maintenance issues. His greatest pride in life was his three sons and the time he spent fishing and talking sports with them. Harry enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, collegiate and professional sports and helping his neighborhood community.

The family would like to thank all the friends and neighbors who provided transportation to his medical appointments and staff at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center for the care they provided.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the immediate family.
