Gokul S. Ghalley, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 26 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill at the age of 91 while surrounded by his loving family. Born June 14, 1932, in Bhutan, he was the son of the late Man S. and Dhan M. Ghalley. He was the loving husband of Til M. Ghalley.
Gokul was a member of the Bhutanese Community, Harrisburg. For most of his working years, he worked as a farmer and a businessman.
Thriving with his wife Til Maya Ghalley are a son, Bhanu Ghalley and his wife Kaushila Ghalley of Mechanicsburg; a daughter Tanka Rai and her husband Naren Rai of Silver Spring Township; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, several sisters and brothers predeceased him.
Traditional Hindu Funeral Services and viewing will be held Thursday, March 28 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
