Garry L. Kuykendall

Garry L. Kuykendall, 69, of Carlisle, passed away June 19, 2026, at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital.

Born May 14, 1957, he was the son of the late James J. and Eva A. (Rhoads) Kuykenall Sr. After graduating from Cumberland Valley High School, Garry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country. Upon his honorable discharge, he drove school bus for Central Dauphin School District. Garry was then employed as a manager for Hess Service for many years. He most recently was employed at Lowes in Carlisle until his retirement in 2023.

Garry was a member of the Turnpike Ramblers Motorcycle Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1299 and The White Circle Club in Carlisle. He served as the president of the Boiling Springs Sportsman Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle and most recently, riding e-bike with his wife.

Surviving Garry is his wife, Connie (Auman) Kuykendall; son, Shaun A. Kuykendall (Melissa); daughter, Diane Casner; grandchildren; Shelby Werner, Ryan Stump, Karen Kuykendall, Levi Kuykendall, Abigail Welsh, Darian Fuller, Caiden Casner and Peyton Casner and one great-grandchild, Freya Fuller; siblings, Mary Wagner, Dale Kuykendall and Larry “Buck” Kuykendall. In addition to his parents, Garry is preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Stump; brother, Jim Kuykendall and grandson, Dillion Fuller.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013 at 11am. There will be a visitation from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
